Biography

Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York in May of 1935. She moved to San Francisco, California at the age of 7. San Francisco is where she grew up and got married. She moved to Dublin 34 years ago to raise her family. She enjoyed writing in her journal daily and left special messages to her family when the end was near. She was a passionate reader and loved a good conversation. Helen loved all kinds of music and always had her little statue of St Jude close by. She is survived by her children Robert Marcum Jr (Tammy); Calvin Marcum (Charlene);Vincent Marcum (Cynthia); Kimberly Thomasson and Gina Escobedo; 14 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, July 15th, 1:00 in the afternoon. The place will be The Old St Raymond Church, 6600 Donlon Way, Dublin, in the Dublin Historic Park.
