On January 1, 2021, (Raj) Dulari Chopra of Livermore, CA, passed away. She was born on December 3, 1946 to Des Raj Kapoor and Shanti Devi Kapoor in Bombay, India. She graduated from Dayal Singh College in New Delhi. On February 4, 1968, in New Delhi, India, she married Randhir Chander Chopra, the man she loved deeply since the day they met. They moved to Knoxville, TN, where they built their family and had many dear friendships. They later moved to Livermore, CA, where she spent the last 25 years. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her sisters and brothers, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews, as well as her many close friends. She is survived by her son, Deepak C. Chopra and his wife Deepika Chopra and their son, Karan, to whom she was very devoted, and also by her daughter Ranjana Chopra Sharp and her husband Adam Sharp and their daughters Gabrielle and Annabelle. Dulari was preceded in death by her husband Randhir and their parents. An intimate service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, at Castro Valley Crematory, followed by cremation at 12:30pm. For those who loved her and wish to attend virtually, the ceremony will be made available virtually. Arrangements are being handled by A Special Touch Funeral Service, San Ramon, CA.
